People & Culture Manager / Staff Interpreter

I started at Wavefront Centre in 2021 as a staff interpreter and Project Manager. In 2025, I added the role of People & Culture Manager to my responsibilities.  I am honoured to provide interpreting services to our staff and the greater community while providing value internally to the Wavefront leadership and employees.

In my role as a Project Manager, I am fortunate to put my skills to use in a variety of areas, from policy and procedure development to tasks that contribute to awareness and accessibility of communication in the greater community. My roles allow me and the others I work with to see the growth in awareness for providing accessible communication to the citizens of our province, our country, and our world.

Oliver Wendell Holmes said, “Language is the blood of the soul into which thoughts run and out of which they grow.” The work I do for Wavefront Centre allows me to bridge languages and people – to bridge the blood of two souls that want to connect.

In my spare time, there is nothing I love more than being home. Home is the best start and end to each of my days. I’m a collector of books that patiently wait for me to read them in my retirement years, I swim 8-10 kilometres per week, and you will win my heart with chocolate!
