I studied Audio/Video Engineering and Production from 1989 to 1992. Spending many years applying that knowledge in the music and video production industries led to me finally finding a role in audiometric testing as a contractor for WorkSafeBC for eight years.

Because of my studies, I developed an interest in audiology during that time and spent a year in the Hearing Instrument Practitioner Program at McEwan University in Alberta. I further developed my knowledge and skills and received my diploma in 2019 after two years in the Douglas College Hearing Instrument Practitioner Program.

I have dealt with my own hearing issues for many years. It is through this personal knowledge of the struggles that come with hearing loss that I developed a greater interest in helping others overcome their own unique personal hearing issues.

At Wavefront I enjoy the diversity of clients, variety of disorders, challenges, and learning that come from the audiology-based interactions. “There is no greater satisfaction than improving patients’ lives.”

My interests outside of clinical work include being a musician, race car driver, and artist.
