Legacy Giving Program

A legacy of Accessibility: Create a future without barriers

When you include Wavefront Centre in your will or estate plans, you do more than make a donation, you make a statement. You believe in a future where everyone, regardless of hearing ability, can connect, communicate, and thrive.

Lasting impact

Your legacy gift ensures that Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing individuals will have continued access to life-changing services for generations to come.

An Accessibility legacy

You help build a world where communication is never a barrier and inclusion is always the standard.

Tax benefits

Planned giving offers generous tax advantages for you and your estate, allowing you to maximize your impact while minimizing tax implications.

Legacy Giving Options

Your legacy can take many forms. Here are the most common types of planned gifts:

Bequests
A gift in your will that leaves a specific dollar amount, percentage of your estate, or a particular asset to Wavefront Centre.
Securities
Donating publicly traded stocks, bonds, or mutual funds can provide significant tax advantages while supporting our mission.
RRSPs/RRIFs/TFSA
You can designate Wavefront Centre as a beneficiary of your RRSP, RRIF, or TFSA, which may reduce the tax burden on your estate.
Life Insurance
Name Wavefront Centre as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy for a meaningful future gift that may require little to no upfront cost.
Real Estate or Personal Property
Consider a future gift of property or other assets that can support our programs while offering potential tax relief.
